The keynotes will be delivered by Professor Marina Rustow (Princeton) and Professor Nikolas Jaspert (Heidelberg).
Marina Rustow will address “The Cairo Geniza and the Middle East’s Archive Problem”, while Nikolas Jaspert will discuss “Mobility, Mediation and Transculturation in the Medieval Mediterranean. Migrating Mercenaries and the Challenges of Mixing”.
